Join our team: pipe TIG welder (Nebraska)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a pipe TIG welder in Cherry County, Nebraska. You will work on a structural steel site. Your main tasks: • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush What we are looking for: • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard $3,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
