Immediate opening: we are hiring a PVC window installer in Alameda County, California. The job is in the profile cutting and welding bay. The role involves cut uPVC profiles to size on a double-mitre saw at 45 degrees; cut and weld mullions and transoms into the frame; fit espagnolette locking gear, friction hinges, handles and keeps to the sash; take site measurements of openings before fabrication. Requirements: • Driving licence for measure-up and site-fitting visits • Confident on the double-mitre saw, welder and corner-cleaning machine • Knowledge of common hardware systems such as espagnolette and friction hinges Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. We offer $17 per hour plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
