What we are looking for: • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings On a typical shift you will fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press; check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots; remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron; shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board.
