We are recruiting: we are hiring a brick mason in Erie County, Pennsylvania. You should have: • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding You will building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses; raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish; buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge; setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge; building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation. 4+ years on the tools preferred.
