Urgent requirement: we are hiring a dogger in Sherman County, Kansas. You will be based at a shipyard. Day to day you will select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight; attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks; fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads; secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio. You should have: • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather Full-time with occasional weekends.
