Vacancy available: concrete placer (Mississippi)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a concrete placer in Holmes County, Mississippi. You will be based on a road and bridge project. The role involves: • Lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade • Strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength • Set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins • Float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish • Discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms • Fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule Requirements: • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours • Willing to wear safety boots, helmet and full PPE At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
