Horizontal milling machine operator wanted in Echols County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a horizontal milling machine operator in Echols County, Georgia. You will be based in a die and mould making unit. You should have: • Experience on Fanuc/Siemens CNC controls • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges Your main tasks: • Apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed • Set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter • Load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control • Carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance • Mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square • Select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors Rotating shifts.
