Your main tasks: • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
