Join our team: we are hiring a lifting rigger in Keweenaw County, Michigan. The job is on a high-rise building site. Ideal candidate: • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams Day to day you will tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear; establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area; coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller; set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads; select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight. Meals and transport allowance provided. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
