Great opportunity: tig welder (Kansas)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a tig welder in Osborne County, Kansas. On a typical shift you will set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; control heat input so thin sheet does not warp; inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Own basic hand tools and PPE At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. $2,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
