What we are looking for: • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium You will grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal; control heat input so thin sheet does not warp; read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters.
