Machine operator (earthworks) — Wood County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a machine operator (earthworks) in Wood County, West Virginia. Requirements: • Reliable, punctual and able to get to site • Comfortable with GPS or laser machine control On the job you will handle: • Inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up • Work safely around buried services with a banksman or spotter • Work to laser, GPS or 2D/3D machine-control guidance • Dig foundation trenches and footings to the marked depths and levels • Backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers • Clear sites, demolish structures and load out muck and rubble Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
