Your main tasks: • Prep, clean and prime substrates before membrane application • Seal gaps around windows, doors and service penetrations with sealant • Install vapour barriers and seal all joints and overlaps with tape • Fit mineral wool and glass wool batts between studs, joists and rafters • Install fire-stopping and fire-rated insulation around penetrations Requirements: • Proven experience in thermal insulation and waterproofing • Own basic hand tools such as a utility knife and trowel • Physically fit, able to lift and carry boards and rolls Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. $5,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
