Now hiring: we are hiring a body shop technician in Gratiot County, Michigan. You will work at an accident repair garage. On the job you will handle: • Buff and polish the finished panel to remove imperfections • Mask off glass, rubbers and trim before painting • MIG-weld and spot-weld new panels into place • Knock out dents and creases using a panel hammer and dolly • Treat rust, apply seam sealer and underbody protection • Replace damaged doors, wings, bonnets and bumpers Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for lifting panels, bending and kneeling • Trade certificate in auto body repair an advantage • 2+ years' experience as a panel beater or in a body shop At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
