HSE officer • Indian River County, Florida

Immediate opening: we are hiring a HSE officer in Indian River County, Florida. You will work on a road and infrastructure project. What we are looking for: • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations Day-to-day duties: • Check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements • Run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points • Deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors • Take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry Full-time with occasional weekends.
