Now hiring: we are hiring a rigging foreman in Langlade County, Wisconsin. You will be based at a power plant. On the job you will handle: • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Read lift plans and method statements before starting • Secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists • Rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position • Fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area You should have: • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams Six days a week, one day off.
