You should have: • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium Your main tasks: • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions Full-time with occasional weekends.
