Immediate opening: we are hiring a precision welder in Stephens County, Texas. The role involves strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion. You should have: • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) $3,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Meals and transport allowance provided. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
