We are recruiting: we are hiring an argon welder in Orange County, Texas. You will be based at a busy sheet-metal workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required You should have: • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height $3,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
