Great opportunity: we are hiring a toolroom milling operator in Bon Homme County, South Dakota. You will work in a CNC machining unit. Ideal candidate: • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work The role involves: • Run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production • Load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control • Set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter • Hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm • Read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence 6+ years on the tools preferred. $22 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
