Metal caster — Rogers County

Now hiring: we are hiring a metal caster in Rogers County, Oklahoma. You will be based in a non-ferrous casting shop. On the job you will handle: • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
