Urgent requirement: we are hiring a tyre fitter in Hyde County, South Dakota. Your main tasks: • Remove and refit hub caps and locking wheel nuts • Jack up vehicles safely and set them on axle stands • Rotate tyres front-to-rear as per the service schedule • Torque the wheel nuts to spec with a torque wrench • Log fitments and advise customers on tyre wear and replacement • Balance wheels on a computerised wheel balancer and fit clip-on weights Ideal candidate: • Basic record-keeping and customer-facing skills • A good eye for tread wear and sidewall damage • Awareness of workshop health and safety Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. $3,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
