Immediate opening: we are hiring a cnc turning machinist in Woodford County, Illinois. The job is on the CNC turning shop floor. The role involves: • Measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers • Read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances • Set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets • Run first-off inspection and sign off the part • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear • Check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet What we are looking for: • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. $4,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
