Join our team: cold room technician (Kano State)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a cold room technician in Fagge, Kano State. You will be based in a commercial cold storage facility. Day-to-day duties: • Check superheat and subcooling and trim the charge • Fault-find control boards and defrost timers • Check oil level and top up or change the compressor oil • Pull a vacuum on the system and check for trapped moisture • Charge systems with refrigerant (R134a, R410a, R404a) to the correct weight • Measure the compressor motor's amperage draw with a clamp meter You should have: • Able to braze copper and silver-solder joints • Willing to work at heights and inside cold rooms • Physically fit to lift compressors and carry ladders Meals and transport allowance provided. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
