Gas meter installer • Campbell County, Virginia

We are recruiting: we are hiring a gas meter installer in Campbell County, Virginia. You will work on commercial and industrial sites. The role involves: • Fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances • Connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply • Install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves • Set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge • Test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser • Purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate You should have: • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing • Able to read isometric and site drawings • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces 5+ years on the tools preferred.
