Great opportunity: we are hiring a steel erection rigger in Custer County, Colorado. The job is at a power plant. Your main tasks: • Carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear • Coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position • Take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness Full-time, day shift.
