Now hiring: we are hiring a TIG welder in Izard County, Arkansas. The job is at a busy fabrication workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish Ideal candidate: • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. $4,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
