Requirements: • Willing to work on remote sites and rotating rosters • Safety awareness around banksmen, trucks and other plant The role involves: • Strip topsoil and stockpile it for later reuse • Spread imported fill in even layers ready for compaction • Maintain haul roads and keep drainage falls clear • Follow GPS and laser grade control to hit design levels • Refuel the machine and record running hours • Carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
