Aluminium tig welder — Cannon County

We are recruiting: we are hiring an aluminium tig welder in Cannon County, Tennessee. You will work at a precision engineering workshop. Requirements: • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium On the job you will handle: • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run $3,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
