Cnc lathe operator — Guilford County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a cnc lathe operator in Guilford County, North Carolina. The job is at an auto-components manufacturing unit. Day to day you will set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets; measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers; run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles; run first-off inspection and sign off the part; adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish; watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes. Ideal candidate: • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection • Working knowledge of G-code and M-code 2+ years on the tools preferred.
