Lift maintenance fitter wanted in Washington Parish

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a lift maintenance fitter in Washington Parish, Louisiana. You will be based in a residential tower block. Requirements: • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota The role involves: • Mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators • Respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers • Replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays • Carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes • Rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables 6+ years on the tools preferred.
