HGV driver wanted in Carlisle County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a HGV driver in Carlisle County, Kentucky. The job is at a busy distribution depot. Day to day you will report defects and book the unit in for servicing; log working hours on the tachograph and swap driver cards; keep a safe following distance, adjusting for weather and load; operate tail-lifts and pump trucks during loading and unloading; complete delivery notes, CMR paperwork and proof-of-delivery; carry out daily walk-around vehicle checks before setting off. Requirements: • Good knowledge of driving-hours and tachograph rules • Current Driver CPC qualification card Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate.
