Great opportunity: we are hiring a brick and block layer in De Baca County, New Mexico. Your main tasks: • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish • Installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser You should have: • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets Part-time with flexible hours.
