Immediate opening: bulldozer operator (Iowa)

Now hiring: we are hiring a bulldozer operator in Adams County, Iowa. The job is at a stone quarry. What we are looking for: • Awareness of site safety, PPE and lifting procedures • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination Day-to-day duties: • Level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines • Load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket • Operate the boom, stick and bucket to dig, lift and place material • Keep a safe distance from excavation edges and overhead lines • Break rock and concrete with the hydraulic breaker attachment At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Walk-in interviews this week.
