Great opportunity: we are hiring a retail butcher in Brantley County, Georgia. You will be based in a hotel or restaurant butchery. What we are looking for: • Quick and accurate on the weighing scales and order maths • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers Your main tasks: • Keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled • Take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking • Stuff and link fresh sausages with casings • Sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone • Dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date • Keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. Meals and transport allowance provided. Walk-in interviews this week.
