Fabricator-welder wanted in Gillespie County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Gillespie County, Texas. The job is in a heavy engineering unit. On the job you will handle: • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing Ideal candidate: • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently Full-time, day shift.
