Great opportunity: we are hiring a formwork joiner in Mecklenburg County, Virginia. The job is at a precast concrete yard. Day to day you will check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line; apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting; fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure; cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs; repair damaged plywood and timber shutters. What we are looking for: • Able to keep pace with tight pour schedules • Confident working at height on scaffold and decking • 2+ years on RCC and formwork on building or infrastructure sites Pay around $5,200 per month, based on your experience. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
