Materials handling operator — City of Galax

We are recruiting: we are hiring a materials handling operator in City of Galax, Virginia. On the job you will handle: • Load and unload pallets from trucks and shipping containers • Position the forks square and tilt the mast to secure the load • Charge the forklift battery or change the LPG cylinder safely • Transport raw materials and finished goods between bays You should have: • Good awareness of load stability and health and safety • Willing to wear steel toe-cap boots and hi-vis • Comfortable working in cold store or chilled areas 6+ years on the tools preferred.
