Gas commissioning technician — Chouteau County

Now hiring: we are hiring a gas commissioning technician in Chouteau County, Montana. You will be based in customers' homes and kitchens. Day to day you will fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances; read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes; run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints; set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge; test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser; check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray. Requirements: • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
