Finishing presser — Morehouse Parish

We are recruiting: we are hiring a finishing presser in Morehouse Parish, Louisiana. You will be based at a textile finishing unit. You should have: • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases Day to day you will shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board; fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press; use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics; keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure; hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing.
