CO2 welder • Orange County, Indiana

Immediate opening: we are hiring a CO2 welder in Orange County, Indiana. You will be based at a pipe and tank fabrication yard. The role involves: • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose You should have: • ITI in welder trade or equivalent • Willing to work shifts and overtime Six days a week, one day off.
