Head butcher wanted in Washington County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a head butcher in Washington County, Virginia. On the job you will handle: • Stuff and link fresh sausages with casings • Monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain • Vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders • Portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights • Keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools • Dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date Ideal candidate: • Clean, presentable and friendly at the counter • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler Six days a week, one day off. $4,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
