Immediate opening: we are hiring a gas installation technician in Morris County, Kansas. The job is at a busy gas installation company. On a typical shift you will carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply; read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes; check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray; braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints; set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge; complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation. Ideal candidate: • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration • Clean, methodical and safety-conscious • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders Six days a week, one day off.
