Join our team: we are hiring a vertical milling machine operator in Orleans County, New York. You will be based at a precision engineering workshop. Requirements: • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work • Experience on Fanuc/Siemens CNC controls • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T Your main tasks: • Apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed • Read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence • Load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control • Machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing • Hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
