Ideal candidate: • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through On the job you will handle: • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
