You should have: • Accurate at weighing and following recipes • Familiar with deck, rack and convection ovens • Food handler / hygiene certificate The role involves: • Load and unload the deck oven with a peel • Check finished products for colour, crumb and weight • Boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing • Laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter • Decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream 5+ years on the tools preferred.
