Stainless steel welder wanted in Lake of the Woods County

Join our team: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Lake of the Woods County, Minnesota. You will be based at an automotive body and exhaust shop. On the job you will handle: • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing What we are looking for: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage Part-time with flexible hours.
