Vacancy available: we are hiring a steel fixer in Greene County, Alabama. You should have: • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire Day to day you will lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors; lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman; tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers; set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift; assemble column and beam cages on the bench. 4+ years on the tools preferred. We offer $4,300 per month plus benefits. Meals and transport allowance provided. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
