Immediate opening: we are hiring a rebar worker in Medina County, Texas. The job is at a high-rise construction project. On the job you will handle: • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift • Lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat • Assemble column and beam cages on the bench • Lap and splice bars to the specified lap length • Place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing Ideal candidate: • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements Six days a week, one day off.
