Now hiring: we are hiring a steam press operator in Muya, Niger State. The job is at a textile finishing unit. The role involves: • Remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents • Give each garment a final press before packing • Keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press • Operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments Requirements: • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work Full-time, day shift.
